Parental Involvment

Treehouse Nursery School considers itself working in partnership with parents as vital. We create a friendly and positive approach which helps them to understand that they can make a real difference to their children's learning and development. At Treehouse we build a strong Early Years foundation for parents and carers off to a flying start and then they can build on this as their children move on to primary school and beyond.

We offer partnerships with parents through strong home nursery links to promote the wellbeing and development of children.

We have a well established Parent Forum, with meetings taking place between 4-6 weeks. The Parents Forum is a platform for parents to express their suggestions and ideas for improvements at the nursery. We are committed to working closely with parents to ensure they are completely happy with their child's education and feel that their views and opinions are listened to and acted upon.

We listen to parents and respond actively to their feedback. Underlining this mentality is the provision of the parent meetings and the regular evaluation of staff roles and training.

We hold various events throughout the year to involve parents and carers - e.g Graduation Ceremony, Christmas play, Sports Day, Grandparents Day, Easter Parade and much more...
