At Treehouse Nursery school we have developed our policies to define the principles and values that support our good practice. In turn, the procedures set the framework for how we deliver these principles into practice in order to offer the highest quality childcare and education that each child deserves. Children are always at the heart of everything we do.

Essentially, our policies and procedures reflect our compliance with the legal requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (Department for Education September 2012) sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five and is mandatory for that all early years providers.

All of our staff team are aware of these policies and procedures and have contributed to their development and are responsible for their implementation and periodic review.

Furthermore, our policies and procedure are shared with parents and on-going dialogue ensures that they are kept fully informed and updated with any changes.
